Last week, HUG 🤗 held our biggest event ever as nearly 1000 attendees came to celebrate the first-ever HUGFest with us at the The Canvas Global, Inc. in New York City! It was such a joy that I'm already dreaming up how we'll bring it back bigger and better. Meanwhile, outside of my world that is all things HUG, the tech space can't stop talking about Farcaster! Additionally, new advancements with Hume AI have us wondering if AI could ever play a role in therapy. I was able to run in two half-marathons recently! Even when it's in less-than-ideal weather, it feels great to be back at it. This week, the art & tech world are all buzzing over Sora, Open AI's text-to-video model. Meanwhile, the emergence of brian-computer interfaces has me contemplating technology's capability to take telepathy from sci-fi to the real deal. On that note, HUGFest is only a few days away!! Just because you need to slow down or hit pause, does not mean you need to stop! After injuring my hamstring a month ago, I'm back at it and running half-marathons pain-free. While technically, both running and one's creative practice aren't thought of as 'team sports', I certainly couldn't do either without my team rooting for me from the sidelines. Happy International Women's Day! Listen, I'll be honest: Working in a women-led business isn't without its frustrations. In the same way it was difficult to be the only woman in the room for the early part of my tech career, it can be difficult to be one of the few women-led businesses in any ecosystem.
