Had a blast chatting with Alex Lieberman & Sahil Lavingia for the 60 Second Startup (aka Shark Tank for the Internet) in the streets of New York 🗽So glad to have been selected to pitch to Sahil in the newest format of the show! Let’s talk founder well being! I feel like there’re 3 kinds of people in the startup ecosystem right now:🥵The hustle glorify-ers: think sprint, not marathon, think burnout not sustainable growth, think take take take, never give! 😤The lip service crowd: enough said! 🤩The change makers: these are the real ones, they back their words with action & money! They believe that healthy, well rounded founders build unicorns! That focusing on a founder’s physical and mental health is a business case! Two woman that stand out to me in the last category are Megan Swan & Elizabeth Gould 💖🤛🏽🤩✅They are both investors in Breshna ✅They have a mentality of give first ✅They are persistent, patient and passionate ✅They are invested in my growth as a human & as a founder✅They are a source of inspiration & motivation ✅They approach well being with a holistic mindset ✅They have an epic network of like-minded humans that they share graciously ✅They do not gate keep or waste a founder’s time with fluff So if u’re a founder looking for that extra nudge to eat well, sleep well and perform at ur optimal levels, reach out to Megan and Ellie 💖P.S: this is a completely unsolicited post appreciating boss babes that deserve all the love!
