#funfactfridayDid you know that back in 1936, archaeologists in Iraq dug up something really cool? They found an ancient clay jar with copper and iron rods inside. Some experts think this artifact, called the Baghdad Battery, might be an ancient version of a battery! 🪫⚡️This little piece of history dates all the way back to the Parthian or Sassanian period, which is even before the Abbasid Caliphate. It’s amazing to think about what they might have used it for – early electroplating? Electrotherapy?
