How do you make a quiche from scratch?

There are SO many ways to make a quiche - whether you want to make it fully from scratch or use pre-made, store-bought elements like the Pastry.

Quiche Pastry

It is completely up to know whether you use a pre-made crust from the store, or make your own. I personally always make my own savoury shortcrust pastry from 4 basic ingredients:

  • Plain Flour
  • Salt
  • Cold Butter
  • Cold Water

Vegetarian Quiche Fillings

The most important ingredients needed to make veggie quiche recipes are obviously the vegetables! With so many options and ingredient combinations to make a healthy quiche, it is time to get creative!

Here are some of my favourite vegetables to use:

  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Asparagus
  • Mushroom
  • Leek
  • Spinach
  • Zucchini
  • Pumpkin
  • Broccoli
